As quickly as she burst onto the porn scene, Remy LaCroix will be leaving porn.

Few stars in porn bow out gracefully and with class. Most porn stars hang on until the bitter end and leave the jizz biz only after coming to grips that their phone is no longer ringing and nobody wants to book them for shoots. That is not the case regarding petite newcomer Remy LaCroix who quietly and unceremoniously announced she was leaving porn.

LaCroix said, "I'm gracefully backing out of porn. There’s a multitude of reasons to give now, but the bottom line is that it just doesn’t feel right anymore... physically, mentally, or emotionally."

"I am beyond lucky to have had the opportunity to express and thoroughly embrace my sexuality through my scenes and REMY flick. And I’m thankful for all the self-awareness and confidence this experience has forced upon me. Spending this time in my life being hot and spontaneous is something I will never regret. The support I received in my adventure was unbelievable, and I thank you all so very much — most of all, (her agent) the epic Mark Spiegler."

LaCroix finished by saying, "There are a few scenes to finish up here in July, but after that I am happily going back home to San Francisco, where I will still be active on Twitter @Remymeow and Instagram @urKITTENrightMEOW".

Despite only having a handful of DVDs on the market mainly from Elegant Angel, Digital Sin and Evil Angel, LaCroix was rapidly becoming one of the most sought after porn starlets in the business. After turning 18 in September 2011, LaCroix started in porn in December of the same year doing web site shoots before breaking into the DVD realm. Her first DVD release was Cuties #3. Her first solo box cover was for Lethal Hardcore in My Stepdaughter Tossed My Salad #6 released a month after Cuties #3.

LaCroix's popularity couldn't be higher at the moment as evidenced by the fact that she is the No. 1 most popular porn star picked by you, the XRentDVD users, in the XRentDVD' Top 20 Porn Starlets list. Undoubtedly, despite calling her porn career quits sooner than a government employee can retire, LaCroix will be a shoo-in for an AVN Award nomination for Best New Starlet. Whether she wins the award is still debatable based on the fact she will be leaving the industry and the voters may want to give the award to a girl that is still working in porn. (The AVN Best New Starlet Award has been plagued with the reputation of awarding the prize to a rising star who later has limited longevity in the world of adult films.)

If you learned that a 24-year-old software engineer bachelor in India watched a lot of porn, you wouldn't be shocked by that news would you? What if you learned that every time the guy watched porn he got a splitting headache about 10 minutes into a sex scene? Now that is a bit abnormal.

According to a case study on the man who is unnamed, he experiences "severe, exploding" headaches that develop gradually and peak about 10 minutes into a sex scene when watching pornographic videos. The intensity of the headaches were so accute that the man had to turn off the porn to make the headache go away. Researchers found that oddly, sex or masturbation didn't trigger the headaches - just the porn.

To avoid forgoing porn altogether, the man was advised by neurologists to take the equivalent of about 30 painkillers a half hour before turning on a video. (Those are our kind of doctors!) The neurologists that treated the man, found he was otherwise healthy. An exam of the man's brain showed no abnormalities, and he didn't have any history of migraines in the family.

The good news for you is that you probably do not get splitting headaches from watching porn. Remember when you were a kid and your mom told you, "Clean your plate.
