Inside Briana Banks

Interview Date: February 14, 2017

It has become a bit of cliche to say that someone needs no introduction. But in the case of Briana Banks it really is true. What more can you say about a woman who has been in the porn industry since the age of 19, has seen the adult film industry change drastically in less than 20 years, been on the covers of major adult magazines, been the longest reigning contract girl for Vivid and launched now two successful comebacks into porn? And just because Briana Banks has accomplished a lot does not mean she is going to return to porn and rely on her reputation to keep her afloat. XRentDVD's Big D was able to catch Briana Banks between work outs long enough to discuss her latest venture, how she lost 50 pounds and is in the best shape of her life, discusses how the porn industry has changed drastically and Briana even reveals the strangest item a fan has asked her to autograph.

Big D: Today is Valentine's Day, February 14, 2017. The AVN Show and expo is now behind us. Have you fully recovered from the craziness that is the AVN weekend in Las Vegas?

Briana Banks: Yes. Absolutely. That was a crazy show. I was not expecting to have made such a huge comeback. Compared to the last year I went, I hadn't done a scene yet. This year was insane. Next year I am definitely going with a bodyguard. I did not know it was going to be as crazy as it actually was.

Big D: What happened that you think next year you will need bodyguards?

Briana Banks: After being five years out [of the porn industry] I didn't think it was going to be that bad or that big of a deal that I am back [in porn]. I realized that my fans are really die-hard and excited that I am back. Getting my second Hall of Fame three months back and being nominated for Female Performer of the Year for XBiz and AVN this year, it's thrown everyone in the industry for a loop. A lot of girls will make a comeback and they will do a couple of scenes and then they are gone again. I've actually during this past year, I have worked my ass off, excuse my language, and launched my website. (BrianaBanks.xxx) I've done everything I wanted to do. I put a check next to everything I wanted to do. I'm really, really happy with my comeback as of right now.

Big D: How has the AVN Show and Expo changed from five years ago when you left porn to now that you are making a comeback? Has the show itself changed drastically compared to five years ago or is it the classic, absence makes the heart grow fonder and because you have been gone for so long, your fans are starved to see you again?

Briana Banks: It has changed 100% since the last time I was there. The last time I went was when it was held at the Venetian [Hotel & Casino] which was one big, open room and I was signing for Vivid. I had been with them for eight years. The biggest difference besides the social media was that we had a poster to sign and people would wait in line for hours to have their magazines and their DVDs autographed. We were being paid to be there and our hotel, hair and make-up was all paid for. Compared to now, you are bringing your own merchandise to sell. You are paying for your own hair and make-up, your room and airfare. It's a completely different industry now than what I walked out of five years ago. I am learning as I go I should say. It's a completely industry in every aspect of the word.

Big D: Is that a commentary on the adult industry as a whole? In a matter of five years it has gone from being, for lack of a better term, the "all expenses paid tour" to now you are an independent contractor where you are having to promote yourself and do you own thing a bit more than what the studios were doing just a few years ago? Is that a commentary on the state of the business itself?

Briana Banks: Yes and no. You don't just show up at AVN with your make-up done and sit down and just have the fans wait in line anymore. It's more of a hustle. You have to lug around your own merchandise. I had a smile on my face the whole time because I was happy to reunite with fans who had been fans of mine since I was 19. So I got to meet a lot of them again. I also have a new generation of fans. It's just a whole new ballgame. It's a lot different when you are not 20. Standing there selling movies, I caught people stealing stuff which I am not a big fan of. You just have to keep one eye open, one ear open. Definitely a lot more work than what I was used to when I was going to the conventions years ago. It was just meeting the fans and giving them hugs and signing their stuff versus selling stuff. I can not bring myself to sell a selfie. For example, girls were charging $10 for a selfie. I just couldn't do it. I was doing three poses for $10 and I felt bad about it. but if you don't, I found out, they will comeback all day long for another selfie. You kind of have to put your foot down. I'm known as the nice Vivid Girl but you have to if you want to make a profit and not come home with less money than you went there with.

Big D: I seem to recall that they actually changed the rules where you can actually sell product on the show floor when in years prior when I was going to the show, selling of items was forbidden. All the studios had to print up 8X10 photos and posters and any DVDs needed to be specialty DVDs and given away for free. Is it different now in that you can sell a DVD or a signed photo to the fans? Have the rules changed now?

Briana Banks: Yes. I don't know what the rules were when I was gone but as of this year, everything is for sale. Girls were bringing posters, DVDs, T-shirts. Anything you can think of, they were selling. The more your bring, the better. Unfortunately for me, I didn't realize how quickly people would buy those DVDs since I have only been back for about a year. I have about 200 pornos of myself right now because everybody had already bought the brand new releases. I have a lot of porno in my office. I think I will do something on social media with them. Win a free DVD from me on Twitter. Do something for my fans to win a free DVD. They cost me $5 and I adore my fans. I think I will make up some sort of contest, like answer three questions about me and I will mail you a free DVD. If the DVDs did not sell at AVN, that means they certainly will not sell in two months from now at the next exotica show.

Big D: You were inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2009 and just recently inducted into the X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO) Hall of Fame this past year. You've been a Vivid contract girl. You've retired twice and now have made two comebacks.

Briana Banks: I was the longest reigning Vivid Girl. I was with them for eight years. To comeback and get my second Hall of Fame three months back in... I was actually terrified because they said I had to actually present the award. I was scared because I had not been in front of a large group of people in five years. I got a call and they said to not worry about it because Bob decided that I should win because I am the fan favorite. So you're saying I actually have to go up and actually give a speech now? It was a huge honor. It really was to win my second Hall of Fame only three months back in [porn].

Big D: With that said, two Hall of Fame inductions, longest reigning Vivid contract girl, two comebacks - What's left for Briana Banks to accomplish next? What can we expect from your second dip back into the adult industry?

Briana Banks: I am looking into starting my own production company and directing. I've been looking at all the different styles of the way people shoot porn these days. Everyone does everything so differently now. I've been doing scenes and watching how every company does it and which companies I choose not to shoot for and which companies I do like to shoot for. I'm just trying to find my niche. I want to find my niche and what style of shooting I can find myself getting into.

Big D: Tell us about your newest venture, The Destruction of Briana Banks by Devil's Film. What is that all about and why should fans be excited for that one?

Briana Banks: The Destruction of Briana Banks, I originally did the first line of that series which was The Violation of Briana Banks which was way back before Vivid. I'd say it was 12 years ago. Then I was in The Destruction of Romi Rain a few months ago. She really, really wanted me to be in her destruction because she idolized me and I was one of the reasons why she wanted to get into the adult industry. I agreed to do it. Then after that, Jim Powers, who I have know for way too long. I love Jim but he has known me since I was 19 years old. He wanted to do The Destruction of Briana Banks. I went ahead and did that. It's an amazing scene. I booked all of my talent so we have beautiful girls which is important to me. They really did an amazing job of destroying me. (laughs) It's just a really good scene with really attractive girls. It's very well shot and very excited and proud of it. I didn't know I could still do that stuff at my age. I just had a lot of fun with it. I love shooting for Jim. He puts out some really funny stuff. I just had a really good time.

Big D: How is it different shooting an all girl gang bang compared to boy/girl scenes?

Briana Banks: It's definitely a lot rougher. The Violation of Briana Banks was a lot of my head being pushed into a lot of people's crotches. It was definitely not as rough as what is being shot today on camera. I did double vaj and DP. I would have to go back and actually watch the scenes but I am pretty sure there wasn't double anything. I just know there was DP. It's just like all porno. Everything is just more intense now. They bring it a little bit further than it used to be.

Big D: You mentioned earlier how you are exploring the production side of porn and possibly directing and observing how porn is being shot these days. Who out there is shooting stuff... I don't want to say you want to copy or imitate it, but who is shooting stuff now that you are really impressed with and you find to be high quality and you might want to emulate?

Briana Banks: One of my favorite companies to shoot for right now is Elegant Angel. I just shot my first DP which turned into my first and only, on or off camera, double anal. I think that they [Elegant Angel] still put a lot of pride into their work and the finished product. I put a lot of pride into my own image. I've lost 50 pounds before I got back into the industry. I want the product that I am shooting to really highlight how much work I have put into my body and getting healthy. Just getting on the right page again. When I left I was not on the right page. I was tired of doing movies and it showed. That's why I walked away from it all because I didn't like what I saw anymore. I would say Elegant Angel. I love working for Manuel [Ferrara]. His productions are always top notch. Hard X. Mason is a female director who actually decided to become a director because she was a production assistant on one of my sets a long time ago. She watched one of my scenes and she wanted to be the first female director. She wanted to see pretty porn but intense, hard scenes. I kind of want to go down that road where it is something that is just mine. I am not going to pinpoint anything exactly. I have ideas but I don't want it to be anyone else's ideas.

Big D: Did I hear you correctly when you said you lost 50 pounds before making your comeback? Was that 50 as in five zero pounds or 15 as in one five pounds?

Briana Banks: 50.

Big D: Wow! How did you do that?

Briana Banks: I worked out. I dumped a loser boyfriend. You know the old story. [He says] "You get out of this [porn industry] and I will take care of you. You can't do this. You can only do girl/girl." Blah blah blah. And then five years later, I don't have an identity of my own anymore. I miss Briana Banks. So I left the guy I was dating for five years. For nine months straight I worked out three hours a day. Two hours of cardio and one hour with my amazing trainer. I dropped 50 pounds in nine months before I would shoot my first scene back. It was hard.

Big D: That's some serious commitment. So there was no secret to it? No fad diet? Just good old fashioned, tried and true method of weight loss of eat less and exercise more and just stick with it?

Briana Banks: Absolutely. Lots of protein. Not the type of "protein" everyone thinks about when probably hearing this... Chicken. Fish. Steamed veggies. I drink about two gallons of alkaline water a day. Still right now I am working out two hours a day, five days a week. Now it is just maintaining. I feel better now than I have felt in years. And it is not just physical. My skin is better. My overall health is better. I sleep better. I'm just glad that I did it. I did it for the wrong reasons [in the past] because I wanted to look good in front of the cameras. Now I do it because it makes me feel good. I enjoy getting up and going to the gym and feeling amazing every day.

Big D: Speaking of your longevity in the industry, you started in 1999 when you were 19 years old and have been in and out of porn for almost 20 years now. How has the industry changed from the late 1990's to the early 2000's when you first got in to now? In the middle you wee a contract girl for Vivid. Take us through that time line of when you first got in to where we are today in 2017.

Briana Banks: When I got in I was under the name Mirage for two years. I shot about 800 gonzo scenes. Wikipedia has me down for having done 300 something scenes. I don't know where they got that number. I did all of my crazy 5-on-1 gang bangs and 3-on-1 DPs and all that. In June 2001 I signed with Vivid. I was the only Vivid girl they had signed that had even done a scene never mind 800. I was on the cover of Penthouse that month along with the cover of AVN. So June 2001 was the beginning of a whole new world for me. I don't regret one second of it because I have such a huge fan base because I did all the gonzo scenes. Then I signed with Vivid and it was not like my scenes went flat. I was the Vivid girl that did the DPs and did the anal and all that stuff. I kind of made the Vivid girls step it up a notch. I got to travel the world. I got to shoot in Budapest for Briana Loves Rocco. It was just a totally different experience for me. Now coming back full circle to what I do now, everything is totally different. It's not even comparable to the gonzo I did in the late 90's. I feel like I have literally gone through three generations of porn right now. Now it is all about camming and social media. I am just getting used to my third generation of porn.

Big D: When you first started, VHS tapes were the preferred delivery mechanism. They it transitioned to DVDs and DVD porn is still prevalent but has been doing its best to fight off the digital delivery of porn via the internet. Your career has not only spanned nearly 20 years but three different technological delivery systems in which porn consumers watch adult entertainment. You now not only have to keep up with the style of porn that is being shot but the way it is delivered and ultimately consumed by the porn watcher.

Briana Banks: Absolutely. It's crazy. I still have VHS films of myself. How did we go from VHS to DVD to Blu-Ray? And now I go through my Twitter and I wonder if I am watching an iMax show on my iPhone 7? Technology is so crazy now that you can watch a two minute clip on Twitter and you just watched a complete scene. It's a new thing. It really is.

Big D: Talk about the challenges that come with new technology in adult entertainment. You now have this over saturation of accessibility on your phone which is essentially a computer in your pocket where you can watch porn anywhere. Being a content producer, how is the prevalence of so much free porn out there challenging you and others that are still trying to get paid for producing good content and not having it pirated and put on the internet for free?

Briana Banks: I think it is really hard. I just launched my brand new site two weeks ago. My secret is I don't post that stuff on Twitter. Once in a while, I will post me getting out of the shower and I will rub coconut lotion on my boobs or my butt. For the most part, I keep it pretty PG - I wouldn't say PG-13. I would say pretty R rated. I don't expect people to join my site when they can watch it all on Twitter for free. I am trying to set myself aside from what all the other girls are doing. I feel like that is losing them traffic to their website, if that is truly what they are trying to focus on. I am. I shot 20 scenes in eight days at one point in order to have enough content just to launch the site on time. I don't feel the need go on Twitter and diddle myself, putting it nicely, for three minutes straight. Why would anyone join my site if they can see it for free? In order to see the scenes on my site, you have to become a member. I am not going to put three minutes of footage of what is on my site [on social media]. You have to become a member. I have blogs and web cam shows. I sit there and I answer messages from all my members. My whole idea behind building this site was that I wanted to build a website that was for my fans. Kind of like a tribute and a thank you for being such amazing fans. They really are. Every scene has my fans in mind. I do Fem-Dom to boy/girl. Anything other than MILF. That's the one thing I don't do on my site because I feel that is what all the other companies tend to film. I don't really need to put that on my site. It turned out very well and I am very happy with it. So far, all of my fans are really enjoying all the work I have put into it.

Big D: What about the challenge of coming back and the influx of Social Media engagement? Did you have to grab some millennial and find out what is Snap Chat, Instagram and Twitter?

Briana Banks: I did know what Instagram was when I left. Twitter? I basically got handed my Twitter account. Here is your Twitter account. Figure it out. For the first few months it was just emojis. I had no idea what I was doing. I have kind of figured it out [now]. I go on about two maybe three times a day at the most. I retweet and write thank yous to my fans if they leave a nice comment. I have found that less is more. If you are on there and you leave three pictures with meaningful captions, people are going to actually look at it, read it and respond to it. It's better than tweeting, "I'm eating a piece of salmon at sushi right now". People take it [social media] to the extreme. People don't care that you are eating sushi. I find that it is a platform for haters. Trust me, I have gotten more than my fair share. At the same time, it's a platform for your fans. You have to let the negativity fly over your head. I just block negativity. I don't look at it. I enjoy the fans that put positive stuff on my page.

Big D: I took a look at your Twitter page today and I saw that you are at 88,000 or 90,000 followers as of today. Rather impressive for just getting back into porn and social media again.

Briana Banks: I actually started that eight months ago. I started it three months after my Instagram. My Instagram is at 228,000 right now. I have done a lot for one year. I have done almost as much as girls that have been in for four years in one year. I do it all on my own. So when people give me shit because I misspelled something, I find it really funny. I put up a picture and said, "Hey guys. I run this by myself. I don't have anyone helping me. Think about that before you write something mean. #ImHuman". I got thousands and thousands of likes on that because it makes people realize how much work I really do put into it.

Big D: So you don't have an assistant or some handler that has access to your social media accounts and sending stuff out for you? In those cases you would have to put BB for Briana Banks so your fans know that post is actually from you and not someone on your staff.

Briana Banks: No, I don't have a staff. Everything I do on social media is me. I try to keep up with everything. It is impossible, as you know, to keep up with everything on Twitter. I do a pretty good job. I go on in the morning when I wake up. After the gym when I come home I will sit down for a minute and then before I go to bed I will do it. For the most part you can kind of keep up with what is going on. I give it my best. My fans appreciate that I do it myself and that I am really trying and that I do care.

Big D: What's the most rewarding thing about being in adult films? You mentioned earlier that you really missed Briana Banks and that is what motivated you to get back in. What is it about Briana Banks that you missed that brought you back to porn?

Briana Banks: Number one, I really missed my fans. That's number one. They are really spectacular. Number two, I missed Briana Banks because Briana Banks has a platform to speak that is heard. Out there, it is not all porn 24/7. I go on there and promote fitness and health and happiness. It's really cool that I am able to get so many people to go back to the gym. Or listen to my health advice. At the same time, jack off to me. Of course. I would be lying if I was to say that's not flattering. Of course it is. That's what I do. I feel like I have a big enough name and being a legend, I get to branch off and give people advice in other categories besides just sex.

Big D: Since coming back, have you noticed that younger girls seek you out to ask advice since you have had that long run and have seen the porn industry change over the years? You've been in long enough that some girls in porn now may have not even been born yet or were infants when you were first breaking into porn. Is that a little bit weird to possibly be working with someone who was an infant when you first started doing porn?

Briana Banks: Definitely. I have done more than my share of newbie girls as I call them. For the most part, they are all really cool. I don't do scenes with new guys. That's where I draw the line. I like to work with strong performers. A new girl, I can see, I can work with. Yes, do I feel like I am 100? Yes. Absolutely. Especially with the 4D and all the crazy stuff that they have now. A lot of the girls I find do not even know who I am because they are so young. All the guys were stealing their dads' VHS tapes out of the stash spot. They all know who I am. That's the huge difference I have found in the female and male generation performing in porn right now.

Big D: You mentioned Manuel Ferrara earlier and he is a legend in his own right in that he has performed and directed for years now. But what about some of the newer veterans like Xander Corvus? He is newer than guys like Manuel or...

Briana Banks: I love Markus Dupree. I love Xander. I work with him a lot. Ryan McLane. I like the older guys that are around my age. I don't know what happened to the days of two attractive people having sex around the same age. I think it makes for a really great scene. Unfortunately that is not how it goes anymore. I'm always doing my stepdaughter's boyfriend type movies. Some of them are close to my own age. I told my agency that I don't want to work with the new male talent. For the most part, I am not going to label all of them, but most of them don't do very strong scenes. Or maybe I intimidate them a little. I'm not sure.

Big D: I did an interview with Lisa Ann before she retired. She mentioned she did not like performing with new guys because the failure rate of the scenes was just too high. She mentioned that these guys would stress themselves out to the point their heart was racing and was ready to jump out of their chest because they were so intimidated by performing with Lisa Ann. They would either pop too soon or not be able to get it up and the scenes would fail because the guy couldn't uphold his end of the bargain. You very well may be experiencing the same thing where these guys are thinking, "Oh my God. It's Briana Banks. She was a Vivid girl. I used to watch her movies when I stole my dad's porno movies."

Briana Banks: Yes, I totally, totally agree. I am not going to name any names but I have only had three scenes that were bad. They were all new guys. I pretty much research every guy. They say this guy. I look him up. I am like, "nope, nope nope". This guy could be my son. No, not going to work with them. It's not because they are young. It's because, like you said, I am afraid of that uncomfortableness where they are so uncomfortable working with me that we are going to have a very long day.

Big D: And that is surprising because, isn't new male talent breaking into porn difficult? New girls break in all the time because fresh new faces seems to still drive the porn business but new male talent is a bit harder to come by. In the past if a guy wanted to get into porn, he would have to come in with a really hot girl who would only perform with him exclusively and then once he was established, could start performing elsewhere. Guys just can't show up at a casting agency and say they have an eight inch cock and start working the next day. It's a little bit more involved than just that. I'm a bit surprised that there is that much of an influx of new male talent coming in these days.

Briana Banks: I know, me too. I really am. But there is. There are guys, same as with the girls, but they come and go so quickly. Just when you think you kind of have an idea of how many people are in the industry, the next thing you know, they are gone. Then they make a comeback and then they run out of money or the guy that said he was going to take care of them is not taking care of them anymore. It's just crazy at this point. I am just glad I am single. I've been single since I came back and I have found that it is a huge help. I don't have to worry about coming home and dealing with drama. I go to work, I do my job, I go to the gym and I hang out with my friends. My life is good. I am happy. I am positive and I am getting done what I need to get done.

Big D: I am sure you have done hundreds of interviews. Is there a question you have been dying to answer but nobody has had the guts to ask?

Briana Banks: People ask everything. I have come to the point where I am just used to people asking me stuff even if it makes me uncomfortable. I wouldn't say there is any one certain question that has not been asked. I just try and answer the questions openly and honestly all the questions even if it gets mean or full of hatred on social media. So if you have a question, feel free. I have heard them all.

Big D: What is probably the strangest thing a fan has asked you?
View all Briana Banks DVDs

Briana Banks: I wouldn't say it was so much a question but a guy showed up... I think this was maybe seven or eight years ago. A guy showed up at the [Adult Entertainment Expo at the] Venetian and he brought my pussy mold in a towel. (laughs) It was just sitting there and I was thinking, "My God, what could be in that towel?". He just flops my pussy mold down there on the counter. No wrapper. Not in the box anymore. I was just saying, "Wow!" Not even embarrassed at all. Everyone in line was looking around like they were saying, "what the hell is going on right now?". I just smiled and signed it by holding the Sharpie by the end of it because that is really strange. I was thinking, "Oh God, you don't even have the box?". That's really strange. I've seen it all. I've signed guys' backs with my whole face tattooed on them. I've signed so many tattoos of my own face on so many people's bodies. I'm thinking, "Wow, you are so going to regret this in about 10 years when you get married and your wife is going to want that off of you." I've seen pretty much everything you can imagine.

Big D: Seeing how there are a lot of people out there with tattoos of you on them, what was your reaction when someone came up to you and revealed they had your face, your body, your likeness on their own body, forever?

Briana Banks: Of course, at first, it's very flattering. There was a girl years ago in the industry that had my name tattooed all the way across her stomach. I have the nautical stars on my wrist and she had this above her pubic area. I tried to talk her out of it. We were just friends on MySpace. I told her she doesn't want to do that if she is really going to get into porn. That's going to be an issue. For the guys that do it [tattoo Briana Banks face on their bodies] you can deal with that later on in life and even get it removed. The people that do it that are in the industry, it's sad because a lot of companies are never going to shoot you because you have another girl's name on your stomach that happened to make it and is a pretty big star in the industry. It goes both ways. It's goes from flattering to feeling sad for them to "What were you thinking?".

Big D: Where do you see the future of porn going and what do you think your role will be in it?

Briana Banks: I've only been back one year and three days as of now. I am still dabbling my toes but I am hoping by this time next year, because I have invested so much time and so much money in this comeback. I had no idea how expensive it would be to promote myself and my brand. As a Vivid Girl, not that I am a Vivid girl anymore, but their motto was always, "Sexy not Slutty". I've found that at these conventions there are girls are wearing tassels and a G-strings around me. I'm wearing a cute little mini-dress. It's really hard to say. I just hope that I get the opportunity to cross over. I have done some mainstream stuff over the years. I want to be on the other side of the camera within the next year. I want to be able to help other girls not make the same mistakes that I did. I didn't have the proper guidance. Not to say I am going to save porn by any means but at least help some of those girls that are so confused and help them make the right decisions and not blow themselves out in one year.

Big D: First job?

Briana Banks: I was a pizza girl at Lamppost Pizza and I was also on the cover of Teen Magazine.

Big D: First concert?

Briana Banks: Dave Mathews Band

Big D: First car?

Briana Banks: 1989 Baby Blue Honda CRX

Big D: That might be tough for a girl that is 5'10" to get into.

Briana Banks: Right? It was $3,000. I got into a really bad accident when I was young. That $3,000 bought me my first car. I loved it. I had pillows in the back. We would all drive to Venice. I was the only one with a car. That car never let me down. Honda's are very reliable.

Big D: What music are you listening to right now?

Briana Banks: Right now I am very into Lana Del Rey. Love Lana Del Rey. I love Siya. At the same time, when I go to the gym I listen to Korn, Prodigy, Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana. I love oldies. I love Led Zeppelin. I love Pink Floyd. I like a huge genre of music. I am not a fan of Country, Opera or Hip Hop/Rap. That's about it. Other than that, I am very open to any other type of music.

Big D: Favorite food?

Briana Banks: Spaghetti and meatballs and sushi

Big D: Favorite position?

Briana Banks: Doggy

Big D: Movies or the ballgame?

Briana Banks: It would depend on the sporting event. I lived in Pittsburgh for a few years so I love Steelers games. I can't get into baseball. Really there are no teams in LA. I would have to say if I was out here, go to the movies. If I was back in Pittsburgh, I was always going to the sporting events out there.

Big D: Favorite mainstream movie?

Briana Banks: I don't go to the movies a lot. I watched Passengers the other day which I really liked. I am more into Shameless and the TV series streaming stuff that I can watch off my Amazon Fire Stick. You can binge watch and it is not two hours you have to really invest yourself in.

Big D: Favorite vacation spot?

Briana Banks: I went to Iceland last year for my birthday and that is my new favorite spot. It was absolutely amazing. I saw glaciers. I saw waterfalls. It only gets dark there an hour a day. I would definitely say Iceland.

Big D: If it was only getting dark for an hour a day, you probably didn't get a chance to see the Northern Lights?

Briana Banks: I did actually. I went there May 21st and I got to see within an eight hour drive I saw glaciers, waterfalls, the Blue Lagoon and the Northern Lights. I got to see everything. For one week in Iceland I felt like I saw pretty much all of the natural wonders of the world.

Big D: Who is a person, living or dead, that you would like to meet but have not had the chance to meet them yet?

Briana Banks: Kurt Cobain. He was such a tortured soul but he was so intelligent. I'd love to sit down and have a normal conversation. I don't know if that would be possible if you brought him back from the dead. I just think he is a fascinating person and I would love to just sit down and listen to him for about an hour.

Big D: Where is a place you would like to visit but have not yet had the chance to go?

Briana Banks: Bora Bora. I have seen pictures and it is just beautiful. All the huts over the water and the floors are glass and you can see all the beautiful fish. I have been all over the Caribbean, Belize and all that. Bora Bora I think is absolutely, absolutely beautiful.
