EXPECTATIONS:
A vampire movie with sex. Harold Hecuba is there. Nothing like blood and sex to get the juices flowing. I'm hoping the vampires are hot and the chicks even hotter.
We open with a chick and a guy going at it in the desert. After the sex the chick realizes that her guy is gone. She's then attacked by something unseen and we roll titles. We're then introduced to our cast of characters as they make their way across Rt 66. In a VW bus, of course. Jane (Kaylani Lei) falls asleep and remembers about walking in on her boyfriend as he bangs a chick from behind and cums on her ass. You can tell it's a dream 'cause it's all blurry around the edges.

The first scene probably isn't really a scene, it's all setup, though it's not much of a setup. This is one of those high production fuck flicks so it's going to be about more than just fucking. That's fine and dandy, but the pacing and writing is not above B-grade, and the fucking is just a step above Skinemax. But HH is a patient man. Let's just see what goes on from here.
We see Baby (Stormy Daniels) and Otis (Derrick Pierce) walking in slow motion on the desert highway, and we know they're bad asses 'cause it's all in slow motion. Well, that and they have guns. Well, he's Scene 4. He walked out with one of the dancers or waitresses or anyway some chick waaaaaay back during all that banal small-talk. Anyhoo...we spend more time in motel rooms. This time, Jennifer and Brandon have their own room. It's about time, and now we can finally get to scene 5. Or maybe not. They hole up in the lobby of the motel and Brandon gets it while he decides to go get some crucifixes and wooden stakes. Jane runs away into the desert as everyone else gets killed. Wait. Tommy makes it, too. How convenient. We end with our couple walking down route 66.
It looks pretty. And the actors are all good looking. But...there's not much story, not much sex, and not much of anything, really. It's a feature flick so there should be something other than the sex to interest us, but it's badly written, characters are thinner than cardboard, and motivations are few and far between. Ok, so that leaves us with the sex. HH can overlook bad acting and bad dialogue if the sex is hot enough, but it's not. Other than a couple scenes, it's almost as if the sex scenes were put in as an afterthought. I don't even know that this is worth a rental. Just wait for it to be edited and extended a bit and it'll show up on Cinemax.
